In this history of the online casino business, it is not unusual to see operators that offer multiple products under one banner. What is unusual, however, is when a site started as a poker site and then added other verticals; in most of these cases, it was born of necessity when U.S. poker players were banned from playing at online poker sites in 2006 and again in 2011.
Football is the most popular sport in the world, and a big favourite among betting fans. There are so many markets to keep the match interesting, whether you are betting on the match result, full time score, total goals or any other type of football bet.
Titanbet is the subject of this review; I remember when their brand was prominent in the poker world, and I am happy to see that they are still around, now in a multi-vertical gaming form.
I will be primarily focused on the casino part of their business for this review, but I will include reviews of their sports, poker, and bingo games as well.
About Titan Casino
As I mentioned, Titan Gaming launched as a poker brand back in 2005. This was the heyday of the online poker market; the game was growing in popularity globally, and it seemed like everyone was looking to find a site or two to play Hold’em online. This made growing their business very easy…right up until 2006 when UIGEA cut the legs off many of the operators who were taking U.S. business. The company clearly decided to shift gears, adding casino, sports, and bingo to the strong Titan brand, and the end result is a more comprehensive gaming site for you to enjoy.
Titan Casino is owned and operated by Universe Entertainment Service Malta Limited, a company not shockingly based in Malta. This company also owns and operates another long-standing casino, Casino Tropez. Titan Casino shares a casino license with its sister property; this license has been awarded by the Malta Gaming Authority. All this adds up to almost two decades of experience, giving you the confidence that not only does this operator know what they are doing, but also that your money is going to be safe and secure here.
Who Can Play at Titan Casino?
We have come a long way from when Titan Poker opened in 2005, without any restrictions based on location. Today, a combination of their gaming license and their software partner results in many countries being on the restricted list. If you are living in one of the following jurisdictions, you will be out of luck when it comes to playing at Titan:
- Afghanistan
- Antigua and Barbuda
- Netherlands Antilles
- Australia

Software Suppliers
When Titan first launched their poker platform, they were one of the first licensees on Playtech’s fledgling iPoker network. They continue to use that service but have added the Playtech Casino and Live Dealer games to the mix as well.
Playtech has been building top-level casino games since 1999. They started with an operator-first approach; giving the operator an extremely robust management platform meant that casinos could do a much better job of marketing to their players. The development team also built some beautiful games for players to enjoy; the slots and table games feature amazing graphics and stellar licensed content.
All of the casino games are available as a download or in flash instant play options. For those of you on a Mac, you will need to have a PC emulator installed to access the instant play games on your machines. Also, many of the games have been formatted to be able to be played using your mobile device so you can continue your enjoyment no matter where you are.
The Good Stuff
Multi-Vertical Platform
I am starting to lean towards these types of sites as a place to spend my money. Having access to so many gaming options (sports, poker, casino, virtual sports) all under one roof eliminates the need for having so many accounts at different sites; having a one-wallet solution means I don’t have to make deposits at as many sites as well.
Tens of Million in Jackpots
I am a sucker for a Progressive Jackpot. I know that means the pay table for the game I am playing is typically worse than a straight slot machine as some of my money has to go to growing a jackpot, but the chance to win millions of dollars with one spin is just too good to pass up. At Titanbet, you are hooked into the Playtech network progressive games, giving you access to over 50 million Euro in potential prizes.
The Bad Stuff
Bet Winning Limits
Titanbet is clearly focused on the recreational gambler, especially when it comes to their sportsbetting site. They have it clearly listed that the maximum you can win in any wager is $50,000; this eliminates many of the sharp bettors who may want to play with much larger bankrolls. While I totally understand why the company takes this position (many other sites have as well), if you are someone who likes to take big positions on games, then this isn’t the site for you.
Confusing VIP Program
As you will read later on, there seems to be some confusion with regards to the VIP Program at Titanbet. I guess that is because there are so many different ways to accumulate points and therefore VIP status, but as I am someone who firmly believes a simple, outlined VIP program is the key to creating loyalty, this will need to be addressed sooner than later.
Casino Game Selection
Slots
I have already discussed all the amazing jackpots you can win by playing some of the progressive slots games at Titanbet, but there are also hundreds of other titles to check out in their lobby. From games featuring great licensed entertainments to games with excellent second screen bonus games, you are bound to find at least a couple of slots you will fall in love with at this casino.

Table Games
While the slots games get most of the glory at Playtech, this should take nothing away from the Table Games selection they have to offer. These games are also rich in graphics, with very smooth gameplay. The games play quickly, meaning that you can get more spins of the roulette wheel in per hour. As well, there are some interesting variants of the traditional games available; personally, I like to spend my time at a European Roulette wheel versus the American version. Check out all the Table Games options you will see at Titanbet:
- Blackjack Surrender
- Blackjack
- American Blackjack
- Perfect Blackjack
- Blackjack Pro
- Double Attack Blackjack
- Lucky Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Casino War
- Red Dog

- Sic Bo
- Pontoon
- Around the World
- Let Them Ride
- Blackjack Switch
- Casino Hold ‘Em
Live Casino
Have you tried Live Dealer games yet? If not, you are in for a real treat. These games are built to try to make the online casino experience a little more like that of walking into a land-based facility. Faster internet connections allow operators to live-stream a real table and dealer onto your screen. Software companies like Playtech have built large studios that look just like a live casino, featuring a host of dealers for you to choose from.
You can try the following games via webcam (I promise you that if you try them, you will soon be playing some of these games exclusively with a live dealer):
- Blackjack
- Sic Bo
- Baccarat
- Casino Hold’em
- Roulette
Video Poker
Video Poker is an interesting game; at best, you can put certain games in your favor with high pay tables and perfect play, and at worst they can suck up your money like a slot machine. What I like about them is that there is a strategy involved, making it more like a Table Game even though it is housed like a slot. I have found myself in several multi-hour sessions at Jacks or Better along my travels; I stuck to Aces and Faces for this review. You can try out any of these games at Titanbet (take note of many of them that are available in multi-hand format)
- 2 Ways Royal
- Two Way Royal
- Jacks or Better (10 hands)
- Jacks or Better (1 hand)
- All American
- Aces and Faces (1-4 hands)
- Pick ‘Em Poker
- Aces and Faces (1-4 hands multi-play)
- Deuces Wild (1-4 hands multi-play)
- Deuces Wild (1-4 hands)
- Jokers Poker (kings or better multi-play)
- Jacks or Better (50 hands)
- Jokers Poker (kings or better)
- Tens or Better
- Mega Jacks – Progressive
- Jacks or Better – Multihand
- Jacks or Better – Progressive
- Aces and Faces (25 hands)
Specialty Games
Specialty Games is a category of casino games reserved for games that just don’t fit into Table Games, Video Poker or Slots categories. These games are typically built with entertainment in mind, giving you a chance to bet on things like flipping coins or picking your favorite Keno numbers. While these games aren’t for everyone, they are extremely popular, and at Titanbet you are going to be able to try the following games in their lobby:
- Derby Day Horse Racing
- Dice Twister
- Heads or Tails
- Jackpot Darts
- Mahjong
- Mega Ball
- Pachinko
- Penalty Shootout
- Rock Paper Scissors
- Roller Coaster Dice
- Tequila Poker
- Wild Viking
- Bingo
- Casino Reels
- Final Score
- Genie’s Hi Lo
- Knockout
- Wheel of Light
- Keno
- Bonus Bowling
Sportsbook
If you like betting on sports, then you are going to love the platform Titanbet gives you to work with. I love how easy it is to navigate through the lobby to quickly find the sport and league you want to bet on; with so many options, this is an important piece of the puzzle.
You can make all the standard bet types on a whole host of sports; I am blown away by the sheer number of leagues that aren’t top-tier that this operator offers betting lines on. Have a look for yourself:
- Football (soccer)Tennis
- American Football
- Australian Rules Football
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Boxing
- Cricket
- Darts
- Entertainment
- eSports
- Gaelic Games
- Handball
- Ice Hockey
- MMA
- Motor Sport
- Politics
- Rugby League
- Rugby Union
- Snooker
- Volleyball
If all of that wasn’t enough, there is also a full section of the website dedicated to virtual betting. This type of sports betting uses a computer simulation of a game instead of the actual event. What this allows is for you to bet on teams that you like, but in a virtual format, a game is over within a few minutes, meaning you can make many more wagers a day without having to wait up to two hours to see a result.
The growth of virtual sports and eSports (betting on the results of video game competitions) is astronomical these days, and I am happy to see that Titanbet has highlighted this with its own tab in the sportsbook lobby.
Poker
Even though it isn’t the focal point of the Titanbet offering like it was at their site launch, poker remains a popular game globally, and I am happy to see that it is still available to those who are living in a jurisdiction that will allow it. The iPoker network is a decent size, which means you are going to find a good number of cash games at most stakes levels, along with an excellent daily tournament schedule.
The tournament schedule boasts over $3,000,000 in guaranteed tournaments every month, including over $125k every Sunday. Not only that, but every night you have a chance to build your bankroll with their freerolls. The level of poker being played on this site leans towards the amateur side, so this is a great opportunity for those of you who have some experience to jump in and make a few bucks without having to put anything down.
Promotions
Welcome Bonus
There are several Welcome offers available, depending on what game you choose to play first. The Casino bonus is straightforward: it is a 100% match bonus to a maximum of $100. While I have seen much more generous offers at other casinos, I appreciate that this one is set to be able actually to be earned, as opposed to many that seem too good to be true.
If you are a poker player, then I would suggest you take that Welcome Offer instead, as you are likely going to have an easier time earning the bonus dollars which you can then use to play sports or casino.
$200,000 Adventure
This promotion is a great one for casino players; all you have to do is play the games outlined in the promotion, and you will earn tickets in a series of three weekly random draws. This is a network promotion which Playtech operators were able to opt-in for, meaning that all the winners won’t be from Titanbet. That’s fine by me, as I like the fact that they are giving away the chance to win so many prizes. Here are the details of the offer:
There are over 11,350 cash prizes to be won over 3 weekly draws – play in week 1 and 2 to win from pools of €50,000, and in week 3 the pool will be doubled to €100,000!
All you need to do is play through €10 cash on the selected Adventure slots for each entry – but stake €10 on the selected slot of the week for double entries, that’s 2 entries for every €10 cash!
Entries to the Adventure are unlimited, and you can win more than one cash prize every week.
Selected Adventure slots: Legacy of the Wild, Age of the Gods: God of Storms, Robocop, Tiki Paradise, Roaring Wilds, Ice Cave
Selected double entry slots:
- Legacy of the Wild = 25th August to 31st August 2017
- Age of the Gods: God of Storms = 1st to 7th September 2017
- Robocop = 8th to 14th September 2017
Now, the fact that there is a deadline is also good to see; otherwise, I might find it hard to believe that the promotion gave away any prizes. Furthermore, I have seen more than one version of this promotion, which means that even though this one is scheduled to end in September, you are likely going to see another one like it starting soon after.
Banking
Keep an eye out for the restrictions when it comes to withdrawing your funds at Titanbet; they list some major restrictions at Casino Tropez, which I haven’t been able to find at Titanbet but it wouldn’t shock me if the same applied to this site. IN the meantime, there are many ways for you to get your money to and from the site; as always, many of these options are limited by country, so the easiest way to find out what is available to you is to head to the cashier after you log in.

Comp Program
There is a comp program in place at Titanbet, but there is not much information on the details on their website. This is a bit disappointing as I like to calculate my ROI at a casino and that includes how much I earn in the way of bonuses from the comp program. Nevertheless, I am happy to see that there is at least a way to earn and redeem points, and I am sure it isn’t too far out of line from what all the other casinos offer to their players.
Titanbet
VIP Program
With so many different products available, it is not surprising to find out that the VIP Program is a bit confusing at this site. A Google search for their loyalty program unearths ones for poker, casino and also restricted by country. What I can tell you is that there is definitely a VIP program that rewards players for being loyal to the brand. Your best bet is to reach out to the casino, explain what games you are likely to play the most, and see what they have to offer you in the way of VIP bonuses and rewards.
Customer Service
If you are having issues with the site, you have multiple ways to contact their customer service department. I always recommend to my readers to use a Live Chat function if it exists; it allows you to reach someone in real-time but without having to call a telephone number.
Fortunately, Titanbet does offer Live Chat operators; when I tested it out, it only took a few seconds for the operator to respond, and while I asked a pretty simple question, I also received a response very quickly from them. You can also give them a call if you want (bear in mind there is no toll-free service) or you can use email or fax (!!) to have your issue dealt with as well.
Would I Play at Titanbet Casino?
I love everything this company has to offer players; from top-quality casino software from Playtech featuring millions of progressive jackpots to an incredible array of sports to bet on, you are not going to go wrong giving this site a try. Even though this review focused on the Malta-licensed company, there are sister sites which are available for the UK and Italian players that offer a similar product but in a ring-fenced environment that meets the standards of those countries.
